<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>Street sweeping areas for the Town of Cochrane. Each spring, Communications releases media to residents informing them of upcoming street sweeping dates. The GIS team supports this communication with a ExB app in AGOL that shows the areas and their associated street sweeping dates. The details are confirmed and sent to us from the Roads team (sometimes via Communications).</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>There are 3 fields of importance in this dataset: Location, SweepingDate, and Year. For each new year, a copy of the existing records can be made and modified, with the year value incremented by 1 and a definition query set on the layer to only show records for the current year. Attachments are included with the feature class solely to support interactive legend functionality within ExB: the Feature Info widget is used as an interactive legend and it shows the Location, SweepingDate, and the image attachment (which is just a simple .png file in the same colour as the record's layer symbology.)</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
